Speusippus was an ancient Greek philosopher, nephew and successor of Plato as head of his philosophical Academy. He resided there for eight years, in which he was noted for orgy & extravagance. Plato attempted to curb him, however forgoing burden. He died either of suicide or even the phthisis.
